Apricot Gelato

Apricot Gelato (home-made italian ice cream)


The apricot is a summer fruit that I love.

In addition to being very good to eat, it is versatile in the kitchen: it can be used in different ways from  marmalade to fruit salads, from cakes to cupcakes and up to  gelato (ice cream)  and it is always very good …

Apricot is rich in minerals, regenerates blood structure and strengthens the nervous system, skin and intestines: apricot is a true elixir …

Below is the recipe for my gelato ( ice cream) with apricot …


300 gr. of well-ripened apricots without peel and core
100 gr. of sugar
200 ml. of milk
100 ml. of cream
10 gr. of milk powder
4 gr. of stabilizer


Measure milk and cream, pour sugar and apricots into pieces then blend well in a blender.

Add stabilizer and mix again, put the mixture in the gelato maker machine  and let it stir for about 30/40 min. or until you see a well mounted gelato (ice cream) .

Let stand for about 1 hour in the freezer.
