Spring is coming, the days are getting longer but still the sun is’nt shining every day, at least here in Italy…
Why not trying to brighten our gloomy day with a nice sorbet?
A Strawberry sorbet seems perfect!
I love strawberries, one leads to another as well as cherries …
Here’s the recipe …
250 gr. of strawberries (You can use frozen strawberries if You do not find fresh ones )
210 gr. sugar
500 ml of water
4 gr. of stabilizer
a few drops of lemon
Measure the water, then pour the sugar and strawberries; blend well in a blender and strain through a fine-mesh strainer.
Add the stabilizer and mix again, turn on the gelato maker machine and pour the liquid in, then stir for at least 25/30 minutes.
If You have it You can replace 2 gr. of stabilizer with 2 tablespoons of strawberry fruit paste improving flavor .
When ready,let rest in the freezer for at least an hour and …
