Cookie Dough Bites Gelato

varied with Cookie Dough Bites Chocolate Chips.

today I propose an ice cream that is a forbidden pleasure …
When you were a child have You ever tasted  the dough of a cake or cookies before baking?

 

Your mother will certainly have told You not to do it or you would have had a stomach ache … but You did not resist!

 

Here, these bites are pure mixture of cookies covered with chocolate … a real treat, I assure you !!!
And You do not run the risk of being scolded !!! ;-P

I have combined cookie dough bites with a very “creamy” fiordipanna gelato  that goes well with the taste of the biscuits …
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
½ l. of milk
65 gr. of  liquid cream plus 100 ml
125 gr. of sugar (if  available  replace 50 gr. of sucrose with dextrose)
15 gr. of milk powder
3 gr. of stabilizer
pinch of salt
vanilla
a pack of Cookie Dough Bites
Procedure:
Mix all dry ingredients together  then add the liquids and mix well;  add half vanilla bean and seeds thereof.
Place the mix in a saucepan and heat gently up  to 85 ° C. with the help of a thermometer.
Let  the emulsion to cool down, meanwhile turn on the ice cream maker and add 100 ml of cream.
Stir for about 30-40 min. or until you see  a well mounted gelato, at this point coarsely chop half of a pack of Cookie Dough Bites and incorporate them in the gelato.
Let stand for about 1 hour in the freezer.
Compose each cup with gelato and some Cookie Dough Bites.
A real pleasure !!!
