Chocolate Mousse



September is coming and,  along with it , the desire to cook richer and “caloric” tastes and flavors.

For this reason I thought I’d introduce my recipe for a chocolate mousse.

It ‘a quick and easy to prepare dessert, that, for  sure, will please both you and your friends.

I prepare  it often, and it’s fun to accompany it with skewers of assorted fruit.

Below is the recipe …


350 ml. of cream;
80 gr. of dark chocolate;
1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
1 sheet of gelatin.


Put the gelatin in cold water for 10 minutes, in the meantime, melt chocolate (and sugar) in a cup of cream.

When chocolate is melted just join the gelatinthen pour in the remaining cream mixture and stir without  mounting.

Filter through a fine mesh strainer and insert in the siphon whipped cream maker, proceeding in the usual way.

I often use this mousse with fruit, I really like the contrast between the very firm, “chocolaty”, mousse and the sweetness of the fruit.
