Nutella is definitely the most appreciated soft chocolate cream by children and grandparents.
In its gelato version you can enjoy the same tasteand, for sure , it can be a great option for summer picnics.
You can use it as a filling for croissants or crepes, waffles, pancakes or eat it alone.
I’m sure you will love it.
Here’s the recipe.
60 gr. of Nutella cream
40 gr. of liquid cream
1 tablespoon of sugar
15 gr. of milk powder
3 gr. of stabilizer
Pinch of salt
1 egg yolk (optional)
Mix all dry ingredients together, then add the egg yolk while continuing to stir.
Finally add the liquid and after mixing well put everithing in a pot and heat up to to 85 ° C with the help of a thermometer.
At this point add Nutella and stir to facilitate amalgamation.
Allow the emulsion to cool down, in the meantime, turn on the ice cream maker machine and stir for about 30/40 min. or until you see a well mounted gelato (ice cream).
Let stand for about 1 hour in the freezer.
