Banana gelato

Banana gelato (home-made italian ice cream).

 

Hello,

this was one of the first gelato flavors I tried create with the ice cream maker machine.

The first ones I made were too sweet, then, slowly, I adjusted the recipe and the final result  is really delicious.

It has never been one of my favorite flavors, but this recipe made ​​me change my mind …

Try it by yourself!

Ingredients:

400 gr. of banana (I recommend mature)
150 ml. of milk
50 ml. of cream
90 gr. of sugar (if available, replace 40 gr. of sugar with dextrose)
10 gr. of milk powder
the juice of one lemon
a tablespoon of concentrated fruit banana (if available)
4 gr. of stabilizer (2 gr. if you use fruit concentrate)

Procedure:

Mix all dry ingredients together, in the meantime chop bananas and marinate them in lemon juice to prevent blackening.

Drain the juice from bananas and bland along with all the other ingredients, put the resulting mixture in the ice cream maker machine  that You previously turned on.

Stir in the ice cream maker machine  for about 30/40 minutes.

Let stand for about an hour in the freezer.

Enjoy your meal!
